Christian Holistic Living – Welcome to The Little Bread Homestead
Welcome to The Little Bread Homestead—a place for Christian families who want more than surface-level fixes. Here, we believe true health is holistic: it touches your body, your soul, and your home, and it grows out of a Christian family culture rooted in faith, grace, and intentional living. Whether you’re navigating a chronic health condition, rebuilding trust in your marriage, or simply longing for more peace in your everyday routines, you’re in the right place.
We’re Tom and Meg—husband and wife, and fellow travelers on the road toward wholeness. After years of unemployment, health struggles, and more moves than we can count, we learned that lasting change doesn’t come from another checklist. It comes from letting God rebuild the foundation, one honest season at a time. That’s the heartbeat of The Little Bread Homestead: helping families like yours break unhealthy generational patterns and grow into the healthier, more connected home God designed you for.
Everything we create—from our blog to our faith-based printables—flows out of three simple pillars: a nourished body, a nourished soul, and a nourished home. Take a look around, and let’s grow together.

Hello, we’re glad you’re here!
Hi, we’re Tom and Meg!
We’ve been married for 19 years, and our heart’s desire is to reach new levels of health in all areas of life while breaking unhealthy generational patterns. Through years of chronic health challenges, 12 moves, and navigating difficult seasons, our foundation has remained steadfast in Jesus Christ. We pray, process, write, and serve together as a husband-and-wife team committed to helping other families heal, grow, and walk in freedom. Whether you are seeking trauma recovery and soul care, practical nutrition at the root of daily life, or guidance for a Christ-centered marriage and home, we’re here to walk alongside you so you feel seen and heard. That’s the heartbeat of The Little Bread Homestead.

Nourished Body
We believe healing starts with listening to your body, not silencing it. Through whole-food nutrition for families, root-cause approaches to chronic health conditions, and sustainable daily rhythms, we help you move from survival mode into a life of genuine, faith-rooted physical wellness—one that your whole household can grow into together.
Your body isn’t separate from your spiritual life; it’s the very vessel God gave you to walk it out in. That’s why we focus on root-cause health rather than symptom management—asking not just “what supplement fixes this?” but “why is my body responding this way, and what does it actually need to thrive?” Whole-food nutrition, toxin-free living, and a willingness to slow down and listen to your body’s signals are all part of building a foundation that can carry your family well for the long haul.
We know this journey personally. Years of chronic health conditions taught us that quick fixes rarely address what’s actually broken, and that true healing often requires patience, root-cause work, and a lot of grace along the way. If you’re tired of band-aid solutions and ready to pursue real nourishment for your body, you’ll find practical, faith-informed guidance here to help you take the next small step.
Nourished Soul
Every family carries stories that need tending—old wounds, generational patterns, and places where connection has broken down. Our resources for trauma recovery, soul care, and Christian marriage restoration are built to help you process pain with honesty, break unhealthy cycles, and grow deeper intimacy with your own heart first, then your spouse, and children.
A nourished soul is one that’s being renewed—not perfected overnight, but gently, faithfully transformed over time. This is where we talk about trauma-informed soul care, Christian marriage restoration, and the ongoing work of renewing the mind so that old patterns don’t keep dictating new seasons. Healing the soul isn’t a one-time event; it’s a posture of continually bringing our wounds, our reactions, and our fears before the Lord and letting Him do what only He can do.
We’ve walked through seasons of unemployment, unexpected moves, and marriage struggles that could have easily broken us—but instead became the very places where God rebuilt our foundation. If you’re in a season of untangling trauma, healing a hurting marriage, or simply wanting to respond to life with more peace and less reactivity, this is a safe place to begin that work, one honest step at a time.
Nourished Home
We believe in building a peaceful family culture rooted in intentional marriage, grace-filled parenting, and simple, nourishing, non-toxic homemaking. From faith-based rhythms to suburban homesteading, we share practical tools for cultivating a home that reflects Christian holistic living, even in challenging seasons, or the everyday chaos of raising kids.
A nourished home isn’t defined by square footage or a finished to-do list—it’s defined by the presence of grace, intention, and connection within its walls. This pillar covers faith-based homemaking, suburban homesteading (yes, even within an HOA), and grace-filled parenting that prioritizes relationship over performance. Whether you’re growing tomatoes in a small backyard bed or homeschooling around a kitchen table, the goal is the same: building a home environment where faith is lived out in the everyday, not reserved for Sunday mornings.
We currently homestead in a subdivision ourselves, learning to steward what we have while dreaming toward more space in the years ahead. That in-between place has taught us that a nourished home isn’t about waiting for ideal circumstances—it’s about cultivating intention and connection right where you are. This is the heart behind everything we share here, and we hope it becomes part of your own family’s story too.
You Belong Here
Wherever you are in your journey—whether you’re just beginning to ask hard questions or you’ve been walking toward wholeness for years—you are not alone. We started The Little Bread Homestead because we needed a place like this ourselves: honest, faith-rooted, and free from the pressure to have it all figured out. Our hope is to come alongside you so you feel seen and heard, no matter what season your family is in.
This space is for you and your family. If today is the day you’re ready to take the next step, we’d love to walk it with you.
More simply. More intentionally. More connected to Him and each other.
